Make a House a Home through our non-traditional auction
Do you remember the first time you moved into your own home? It may have felt overwhelming knowing items like furniture, cleaning products, and other essential items had to be purchased. Now image you've lived on the streets or in shelters for a few years and the only items you own are in a few bags.
Rather than hosting a traditional auction where there's only one winner, we wanted our clients and residents to be the winners of our non-traditional auction.
Our goal with the Housewarming is to help ease the transition and financial strain on our clients as they return to a balanced and stable life. No need to shop, we got that covered. Donate online today or at the Gala. This is fun and rewarding opportunity to bring warmth and joy to our elders as they move into their new furnished apartments.
Your monetary donation will provide a new resident with essential home goods like:
- New bed, dresser, and night stand
- New sheets, blankets, and pillows
- Essential kitchen utensils and cookware
- Dining Room table and chairs
- New recliner or wing back chair
- Laundry basket filled with soft goods, detergent, soap, shampoo, cleaning supplies, etc.
A gift of $5,000 will furnish an entire apartment.
